Kai Lei was born in Surrey and currently lives in Billingshurst, West Sussex. After graduating with a degree in Business and Law and a master's degree in International Law, Kai Lei spent two years working for the National Probation Service before qualifying as a solicitor. She went on to work for a leading regional law firm in the South East in 2005 and practised with the firm for 4 years specialising in Tax, Trusts and Probate. Kai Lei qualified as a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) in 2007 and joined the newly formed Spofforths Private Client Department in February 2009. Kai Lei is a keen netball player and enjoys running.
