Spofforths Chartered Accountants is delighted to announce the appointment of Paul Scullion as Director of its Corporate Finance Team. He is currently based at the firm’s Storrington office and will soon relocate to Spofforths new Horsham office which opens on 10th May 2010. Paul’s focus is on exploring opportunities for businesses, whether for potential growth or maximising efficiency.

Paul is a Chartered Accountant and after specialising in Corporate Finance in the West Country he joined PricewaterhouseCoopers in London before moving into industry. He spent two years as Head of Mergers and Acquisitions for a substantial private investment company, completing over £100m of acquisitions, before returning to practice with Spofforths.

Commenting on the appointment, Peter Lansberry, Spofforths Partner said: “Paul’s knowledge will benefit our clients as his expertise covers a wide range of Corporate Finance disciplines - from planning and fundraising to valuations and due diligence. He is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing and has many fresh ideas about connecting with local businesses.”
