Background: Daniel joined Spofforths in September 2000 after obtaining a first class law degree at Brunei University. Whilst with Spofforths he has trained as both a Chartered Accountant (passing his final exams in November 2002, and becoming a full member in January 2004) and Chartered Tax Advisor. In qualifying as a Chartered Tax Advisor, Daniel was awarded the Ronald Ison Medal for the highest mark nationally in the Tax Administration, Professional Responsibilities and Ethics paper, and the CCH Prize for the second highest total marks nationally.
Daniel is an active member of Chichester Priory Park Cricket Club and also plays the cello in his spare time.
Daniel transferred from our Chichester office to the Horsham office to join the Tax Consultancy team full time in February 2007, after splitting his time between the Chichester and Horsham offices for the two previous years.

He has been involved in a wide variety of tax planning assignments including large capital taxes planning exercises involving landed estates and Trusts, share option schemes and Inheritance Tax planning exercises
