Spofforths Private Client Services Spread Christmas Cheer
Horsham Rotary Club and Horsham District Council are organising a special Christmas market for charities with the support of Spofforths Private Client Services, the official event sponsors. The market will be held in the Carfax, Horsham town centre on Sunday 29th November from 10am - 4pm. 20 local charities have registered to take part and more are expected.
The event is being run by Horsham Markets on behalf of Horsham District Council and Horsham Rotary Club. Spofforths Private Client Services is covering the hire cost of each charity stand, including an umbrella and 2 metre table. Fundraisers will use this space to sell a range of new and nearly new goods that will make ideal Christmas presents, as well as their own Christmas cards and similar items, plus homemade cakes and other delicacies.
Spofforths will also have a Christmas themed exhibition stand and plan to run some exciting fundraising activities. The professional advisers will donate all funds to Age Concern Horsham. There will be many other stands to visit on the day including RAFA, Sussex Air Ambulance, St. Catherine’s Hospice, MS Society, Hearing Dogs for the Deaf, Parkinson’s Disease Society, Winston’s Wish, Help the Aged, and The Kidney Patients Association.
As well as the market, there will be rides on an historic steam bus and live musical entertainment in the Carfax, Swan Walk Shopping Centre will have the children’s character Noddy walkabout and there will be second day of the Horsham Christmas Art & Craft Fair in The Capitol….so it should make for a fun few hours of shopping in addition to helping others by supporting the charities.
