Steve joined Spofforths more than twenty years ago, looking after business and personal clients through the Worthing and Brighton offices. He believes in developing strong working relationships and takes the time to understand client needs, ensuring the best results. Steve provides advice on various issues including business growth, management and tax.

To ensure a cohesive service, Steve works closely with professional advisers throughout the firm and is able to seek additional advice for clients as required. He travels between the Worthing and Brighton office each week, maintaining communications and staff relationships. Steve is also involved with various events in both areas.

He has always had a passion for figures and studied accountancy after leaving school, taking up a trainee role with a firm of Chartered Accountants in Hove during 1978. Steve then joined a larger firm in London, providing him with the opportunity to handle audit work for international clients and gain practical experience with a Corporate Tax Team. He decided to join Spofforths as he was keen to focus more on client relationships, something that is of utmost importance to him.
