spofforths' talk at marlborough college about a career in accountancy

Marlborough College, a leading Wiltshire school, recently held their annual careers forum for the lower sixth form (year 12). I was amongst other presenters from 17 differing career opportunities ranging from the Professions to Financial Services and Marketing services companies. The questions they asked and the feed back survey suggested that it had been well received. My particular session maybe stood out as I was able to give each attendee a "goody bag " courtesy of the ICAEW containing fact sheets detailing the training methods and academic requirements needed to enter a training contract not to mention also containing biros and sweeties !
