sussex food and drink awards 2011/12

We recently attended the sixth Sussex Food and Drink Awards ceremony and joined in the celebrations as leading local producers were presented with trophies.  The special event was held at the American Express Community Stadium in Falmer – the home of Brighton and Hove Albion FC.  

A record-breaking 11,000 people voted for their favourite Sussex food and drink businesses and individuals.  More than 350 leaders in the food, drink and farming industries gathered to hear the results, with eight top producers scooping awards.  The event highlighted that Sussex is now seen as one of Britain’s true centres of excellence for food and drink by national food buyers.
