Jo White works in our Tax Consultancy Service in Horsham, where she grew up and went to college. Realising her interest in numbers, Jo decided to embark on a career in accountancy and split studying for her accountancy qualifications between Worthing and London, whilst also working full time. 

Having started her training at Spofforths, Jo chose to come back to the firm after qualifying due to its good reputation as an employer and the size of the business which works with a good variety of clients.  She enjoys being able to combine working with numbers and interacting with people and takes pleasure in seeing that her advice actually helps people! 

Jo has always had an interest in tax and so naturally went straight into her Chartered Tax Advisor exams after qualifying as a Chartered Accountant.  Having trained in general practice accounting before specialising in tax consultancy, Jo has a good understanding of accounting issues which are key to any planning advice she gives.  She enjoys looking at the 'bigger picture' that owner managed businesses work within, and seeing how taxes interact with that - from both personal and corporate perspectives.  

Jo has a keen interest in sport, is an avid cinema and theatre goer and fulfils her creative side by getting involved in various arts and crafts such as painting and papercraft.
